Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer Society is currently accepting applications for substitute teachers at our Red Deer Campus School. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to teach various grades and subjects.
Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer Society is an Alberta accredited school authority, with three schools: Koinonia@Home, providing home education and distance learning programs, Emmaus Learning Community, a designated special education private school, and Red Deer Campus, a campus-based K-12 school. Koinonia Christian School is committed to upholding a Biblical standard of spiritual and academic excellence.
All candidates for any position at Koinonia Christian School - Red Deer must be in agreement with our Statement of Faith. Candidates must also provide a clean criminal record and child welfare information system check.

- Able to design effective strategies to meet students' diverse learning needs
- Able to work effectively in a home-based office
- Bachelor of Education
- Alberta Interim or Permanent Teaching Certificate or Letter of Authority
- Adherence to the Koinonia Christian Education Society Statement of Faith, without reservation
- Canadian resident

- Two references including one from a pastor and a professional reference
- Transcripts or evaluations if available
- Criminal record check that includes Vulnerable Sector
