The Kenora Catholic District School Board is seeking two dynamic and energetic individuals to assist the Student Regulation and Engagement Coach with designated social skills groups in a positive, fun and effective manner in keeping with the Kenora Catholic Districts School Board's mission statement and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a strong rapport and working relationship with students, their mentors, family members and educators
- Support the Student Regulation and Engagement Coach in conducting group sessions
- Provide feedback to the Student Regulation and Engagement Coach regarding student progress and group dynamics
- Be responsible for the supervision and safety of program participants
- Implement positive behaviour supports when needed
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required
- Education Assistant qualifications or similar preferred
- Employment experience related to working with children or youth
- Ability to adapt as required to meet the needs of a diverse school community
