About Us:
We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our thriving Recreation Therapy Department at Three Links Manor. Here, we prioritize creating a supportive and engaging environment for our residents, and we need a dedicated team member to help us achieve this goal.
Your Role:
As a Recreation Therapy Worker, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, taking charge of implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program. Your responsibilities will include leading individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, organizing various activities such as arts, socio-cultural events, crafts, sports, music, cooking, and gardening. You will also conduct resident programs outside the facility, ensuring residents have everything they need for a memorable outing. In addition, you'll lead one-to-one sessions, groups, and large special events, adapting programs to cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
Work Schedule:
This is a relief full time position working Tuesday to Saturday day shifts from 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualfications
• Grade 12
• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
