Position Summary
We are hiring for a Casual Physiotherapist for Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital (DHH) located in Clearwater, B.C.

Days of work: Monday to Friday
Shift time: 08:00 to 16:00

About this position:
Casual shifts are available five days a week, on an as needed basis. This position offers a Physiotherapist a highly dynamic caseload as in a small town you get to see a little of everything. A mixed patient caseload will include acute, outpatients, long-term care and home health visits. The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

Qualfications
Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid B.C. Driver’s license required.
