Position Summary
Grow your Physiotherapy career while making a meaningful impact in public health. We are recruiting for two relief full-time opportunities in our acute care team at the Kelowna General Hospital. Opportunities are expected to run until the return of the current incumbent. Join our multidisciplinary team - apply today!
Days of Work: Schedule is primarily Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement to work one out of every four weekends. When you work a weekend, you will have the Friday before and Monday after that weekend off.
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 07:00 to 15:00

About the role:
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
