Position Summary
Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Out- Patient Scheduling Booking Clerk to join their team in Kelowna, B.C.
Shift times: Days, Monday to Friday 07:15 to 15:15, 08:00 to 16:00, 07:30 to 15:30
Days Off: Rotating
What should your application include?
• A 5-minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). Click here for testing details.
• A Medical Terminology Certificate
• Your Resume outlining two year’s recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).

Qualfications
Education, Training and Experience:
Grade 12 plus two years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to keyboard at 45 w.p.m.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
