Salary Range:
Salary range for the position is $141,494 - $155,643. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant

Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a permanent full time basis in Kamloops, B.C.

This exciting Nurse Practitioner position will provide comprehensive primary care in an established and welcoming environment to clients of all ages in the Urban Indigenous Primary Care Clinic located on the Northshore of Kamloops in traditional Secwepemc territory. The clinic has a targeted focus to support Urban Indigenous individuals and works with physicians and other members of the health care team.

As the Nurse Practitioner you will be providing full primary care to an established roster of patients along with new patients in need. The goals of this service are to:
• increase the availability and continuity of primary care services for Indigenous clients
• enhance chronic disease care
• and provide holistic patient centred health care that is delivered in a culturally safe manner.

Qualfications
Education, Training, and Experience:
• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
• OAT certification/education
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
