MRI Technologist

Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking a Permanent Full Time MRI Technologist to join the Medical Imaging Department. Located in beautiful Kamloops, BC, Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a Tertiary Hospital providing high-level, specialty medical care.

This position is a rotating Nights line and the scheduled shift times are 23:30 to 07:30.

What Will You Work On?
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures, assists the Radiologists, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
