Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Hospital Operations Supervisor, Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Medical Laboratory Department at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, BC. About the Job
This position provides community hospital operation supervisor support for Labs at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake and 100 Mile House District Hospital in 100 Mile House. You will supervise, mentor and coach a small team of laboratory staff and coordination of daily inpatient/outpatient activities. Provide technical guidance to lab staff in conjunction with Specialists and leadership. Facilitates workplace solutions and promotes continuous learning. Coordinates the implementation of processes and procedures, standards, goals and objectives. Ensure that policies, procedures, accreditation and safety standards are maintained.
This is a Permanent Full Time (1.00) opportunity.
Shifts of work will be scheduled Monday to Friday, day evening and night shifts.

Qualfications
•Graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Science Program
•Successful completion of recognized competency assessment exam and registration in the relevant field(s) of practice in accordance with the Canadian Alliance of Medical Laboratory Professionals Regulators (CAMLPR) pathways, or certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
•Minimum of three (3) years’ recent experience as a general duty technologist in a medical laboratory
•Minimum of one (1) year recent leadership experience
•Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the facility
