Position Summary
We are seeking a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician at 100 Mile District General Hospital in 100 Mile House, BC.
Days of work: Rotating, Days
Shift times: 07:30 to 15:30
This is a casual position. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

What will you work on?
If you are a motivated and reliable Medical Device Reprocessing Technician with attention to detail and strong communication skills we would love to hear from you.
As a member of the Medical Device Reprocessing Team, you will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital. In addition to performing related clerical duties and record keeping.

With a vast wilderness and rich history, countless adventures in the great outdoors await you in 100 Mile House. 100 Mile House is a centre for outdoor activities and is becoming increasingly known for its excellent birdwatching. Fishing is extremely popular at any of the one hundred lakes surrounding the area. Known as the Nordic Skiing Capital of BC, 100 Mile House boasts over 150 km of groomed trails which convert to excellent mountain biking trails in the summer. Arts and culture are alive and well in this region with plays, concerts, music, galleries and artists featuring a wide array of creations.

Qualfications
• Grade 12
• Successful completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing course.
• One year’s recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
