Interior Health is seeking a Food Service Worker II to join our Support Services Team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in the Food Processing Centre (production kitchen) in Vernon, BC. About the Job
Food Service Worker:
• Portioning and packaging meals.
• Counting, weighing and/or measuring ingredients for assigned food preparation area.
• Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit.
• Cleaning of food service areas.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

This position works a Monday-Friday schedule that includes days shifts as follows: 06:30 to 14:30, 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30.

Qualfications
• Grade 10, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Food Safe Certificate.
