Position Summary
We are hiring for a relief part-time 0.5fte Registered Dietitian for the Ponderosa Primary Care Centre in Penticton. The position is expected to run until July 2027 or the return of the current incumbent.

Days of Work: Alternating Mondays, every Thursday and Friday
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:30 to 16:30

About the role:
As part of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Dietitian provides nutrition care and support to patients, residents, and groups in accordance with established standards. This role includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, monitoring progress, and delivering counseling and education. The Dietitian collaborates with other health professionals, contributes to practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives, and advises food service staff on patient care and menu development.

Qualfications
Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
Full licensee as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
Valid BC Driver’s License may be required.
