Position Summary
Are you a Cardiac Sonographer who likes new challenges, loves the outdoors and values work life balance? If so, then Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) in the South Okanagan is the place for you!

We currently have an opportunity for a Permanent Full Time Cardiac Sonographer to join our Echocardiography team! This position will work days and evenings (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) with the shift times being 07:23 to 17:22, 08:23 to 18:22, 12:00 to 21:59. The days off for this position are Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Stats.

What Will You Work On?
The Cardiology Department consists of 3+ Ultrasound Rooms and services offered include: Adult and Pediatric Transthoracic Echo, Contrast and Saline Bubble Echo, Transesophageal Echo and Stress Echo (Exercise and Dobutamine). Our Cardiac Sonographers at PRH work with Philips equipment that was purchased in the last 2 years.

Qualfications
Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography). Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (Cardiac and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA). Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
