ABOUT THE POSITION
​​As Manager, Private Company Assurance, you will focus on private company audit while also supporting the team’s tax function in a smaller capacity. Duties will include:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting, auditing and tax concepts - applying them to client situations
• ​Lead client facing engagement teams on audits, reviews and tax engagements - taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development and billing and collections.
• ​Develop strong, professional relationships with clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and top quality service
• ​Lead and develop team members in preparation and completion of various engagements
• ​Delegate audit tasks as required and provide guidance to other team members
• ​Some travel, as necessary, for client-facing meetings​

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 3-5 years audit and accounting experience in public practice
• Experience in ASPE, CAS and Canadian legislation is required
• Excellent client service and communication skills
  

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $110,000-140,000
• Vacation: 3 weeks
• Extended health coverage
• CPA fees and dues
