Our boutique investment client currently two buildings in the Kitsilano area that have been well maintained. With a sister company dating back to 1948, with a strong hold in the architectural hardware space, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of something bigger!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A chance to be the next star Building Manager for this boutique investment client.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of two buildings, providing excellent service to the tenants living within the building and completing minor repairs and cleaning as necessary.

Duties Include:

  • Filling out tenancy agreements
  • Showing suites and screening tenants
  • Collecting rent
  • Complete regular site inspections of the property and coordinate repairs promptly
  • Completing minor repairs and cleaning of the building
  • Coordinating major repairs with contractors
  • Maintaining accurate records of receipts, rent, and leasing documentation.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years experience as a Resident Manager or Building Manager
  • Comfortable living in the building
  • Previous experience leasing suites, screening applicants and conducting move-ins/move-outs
  • Able to complete minor maintenance such as patching drywall, minor painting fixing leaky faucets etc.
  • Driving License considered an asset.

COMPENSATION

  • $50,000 to $55,000 per annum
  • 2 weeks vacation
  • Free parking
  • Reimbursement for Health Care Benefit costs
  • Christmas Bonus
