ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The position would be ideal for a junior to intermediate legal administrative assistant with a solid foundation in commercial litigation who is looking for a bigger challenge in their next position.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining an efficient bring forward system
- All administrative duties including scheduling meetings, calendar management, opening and closing files, preparing expense reports, and conflict searches
- Prepare engagement letters and routine correspondence
- Maintain all physical and electronic filing
- Liaise with billing coordinators for monthly production of accounts
- Provide backup coverage in the absence of other assistants or team members
- All other duties as assigned
THE REQUIREMENTS
- 2 - 3+ of experience with litigation, ideally in large firm setting
- LAA Certificate
- Strong understanding of legal and business terminology
- Proficient with iManage, 3E, DocuSign, and MS Office
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Highly organized and excellent attention to detail in conjugation with strong communication skills
COMPENSATION
- $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
- 3 weeks vacation
- Medical and Dental benefits (effective immediately)

- Potential for hybrid work schedule (after probation)
