Our client, a respected and growing insurance brokerage, is seeking an Insurance Manager, Client Service to lead and support their Commercial and Personal Lines servicing teams. This leadership role is key to ensuring operational consistency, technical accuracy, and exceptional client service across the organization.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Insurance Manager, Service will oversee team performance, service delivery, and system utilization, while fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Though primarily an internal role, this position will also work directly with clients on complex accounts and escalations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor servicing teams to meet performance goals and maintain high quality client service
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to best practices
  • Conduct regular file reviews, audits, and quality checks to prevent errors and maintain standards
  • Track system workflows, task completion, and renewal timelines to optimize productivity
  • Partner with leadership to review KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Handle escalated or complex client matters and support critical account renewals

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Commercial or Personal Lines insurance within a brokerage
  • Alberta General Insurance License Level 2 required, Level 3 preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial placements and personal lines markets
  • Experience with brokerage management systems (EPIC preferred)
  • Proven leadership or team development experience
  • Professional designations (CAIB, CIP) considered an asset
