We are hiring 2 Human Resources Advisors for our client in beautiful Sparwood, BC. Responsible for the day-today HR operations, these roles offer a variety of opportunities to work on labour relations, policy, performance and development programs. About The Opportunity
There are two Human Resource Advisor positions available, both are reporting to exceptional leaders. These roles are diverse and impactful, encompassing day-to-day HR operations, labour relations, workplace investigations, and support for performance management processes. The HR Advisors will work closely with a diverse group of managers and employees, contribute to the development of HR programs and policies, and support recruitment and training initiatives. This is a fast-paced environment, and the HR team is recognized for its high performance and strong collaborative culture.
About The Position
- Labour relations; lead investigations, grievances and performance improvement planning.
- Day-to-day human resource operations, employee questions, providing guidance for managers, HRIS.
- Supporting disability management.
- Performance management and planning.
- Supporting training and development.
- Supporting recruitment efforts.
- HR policy.
- Health and safety programs.
- HR projects.
The Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience in a unionized work environment.
- Prior experience interpreting collective agreements.
- Disability management experience.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to build relationships.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid drivers’ license.
Compensation
- Annual salary range $90,000 - $115,000 + bonus.

- This role is on site, you must be local or open to relocation, at this time the client is not offering relocation compensation.
