They are seeking a seasoned Client Service Specialist (Group Benefits) to join their Vancouver office, where you will work directly with senior leadership and support clients in various industries. The role offers a mix of client-facing responsibilities, administrative support, project coordination, and workflow management, providing a comprehensive experience in benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main contact for client inquiries, managing benefit plan administration and client cases proactively.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on plan amendments, reports, appeals, and strategic documents.
  • Provide administrative support related to trusts, including reporting and responding to related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Handle escalations related to claims, billing, and admin issues.
  • Organize and facilitate client meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Support project management initiatives and suggest workflow improvements.
  • Assist senior management with administrative tasks, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized, confidential client files and ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in group benefits, with strong client service and case management skills.
  • Prior experience working with health trusts would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits or meetings.
