Finance Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional who is looking for a new challenge!

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a Vancouver based real estate development company with projects across North America. They have rental, market, and commercial construction projects. Currently, they are looking to add an experienced Finance manager to their team, the ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the director, the Finance manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Assist in managing a finance team and develop/oversee complex and comprehensive financial models.
• Develop cashflow forecasts and return metrics for ongoing development projects.
• Work on complex financial analysis, including scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
• Maintain and update budgets, including variance analysis.
• Obtain information on development proforma and work in collaboration with other departments.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders and senior management.
• Review financial and legal agreements for ongoing projects.
• Ad hoc special projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA or CFA
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• Advanced excel skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $140,000 to $150,000
• 3 to 4 weeks’ vacation
• Extended health and dental benefits
