Our client is a locally-rooted insurance brokerage situated in Toronto, boasting a history spanning several decades. Committed to providing innovative and personalized insurance solutions, they are currently seeking a Personal Lines Broker to join their growing team and contribute to safeguarding the assets of the local community.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Personal Lines Broker in this role will oversee and expand a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional customer service by offering insurance products and policies. Responsibilities include assessing risks, determining coverage levels, and negotiating with brokers to achieve optimal outcomes.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Assist walk-in clients and discuss their insurance needs
• Answer phone calls from clients when available
• Provide quotes and bind new insurance policies in Personal Lines
• Identify and sell additional coverages for existing clients
• Complete policy reviews and renewals
• Occasional cover front desk for motor license

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 1 general license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance
• Experienced in providing customer service with various situations
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge in BMS software (EPIC preferred)

COMPENSATION

• Flexible base salary between $55,000 - 65,000 depending on relevant experience + performance bonus + commission on new business
