The chosen AP Specialist will manage AP for a number of different entities, often dealing with multiple currencies and a wide-range of local to international vendors for an industry leading construction company based in Burnaby, BC.

Our client is one of the leading Construction companies in Western Canada. This company provides concrete formwork and pumping for residential and commercial buildings across North America.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate with some professional AP experience who is looking to join an established company to gain valuable experience and expand their horizons. This company provides a positive work environment and offers its employees many opportunities for growth.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is looking to hire an AP Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be reporting to an AP supervisor and will need to be able to work autonomously.

THE REQUIREMENTS

·2-3 years AP experience

·Ability to drive to work

·Comfortable doing some overtime work

·Verifying and entering invoices

·Obtaining and documenting invoice approvals

·Performing cheque runs and processing online bill payments and wire transfers

·Checking for accuracy on POs and contracts

COMPENSATION

·Starting salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

·3 weeks vacation.

·Comprehensive benefits package after probation.
