Generalist Teacher

Upper Elementary/Middle School Probationary Teaching Position Rosary School, Manning 2024-25 Rosary School located in Manning, Alberta requires a 1.0 FTE Probationary Teacher for the 2024-25 School Year, starting August 28, 2024.This assignment is primarily in Grades 5-8 Generalist and potential other duties assigned based on the candidate's skill set. The Instruction will include some split grades and small class sizes.The successful candidate is required to have the knowledge and/or experience in elementary education & child development, literacy, numeracy, and social and emotional development. Successful candidates ideally will have a knowledge and understanding of inclusive education, First Nation Metis and Inuit students, English as a second language, programming, and skills to support students who require individualized programs, enrichment, modifications, and/or accommodations to their learning. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning, and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
