Position Summary
The Account Manager – Sales (Internal Job Title: Pre-Sales Solution Manager) is responsible for driving B2B sales across commercial, industrial, and wholesale sectors. This role focuses on identifying and supporting major project opportunities, developing tailored product solutions, and aligning sales strategy with customer needs.

The incumbent collaborates with Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams to deliver effective solutions, support business development, and guide internal training. Strong technical understanding of security systems and a client-focused approach are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to position products or services effectively.
  • Identify and solicit prospective clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent delivery of brand messages across field operations and customer touchpoints.
  • Develop strategic plans for new product lines by aligning market opportunities with business growth objectives.
  • Establish and standardize sales policies and procedures to drive performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and optimize regional and divisional sales operations to enhance territory coverage and sales effectiveness.
  • Lead, oversee, and evaluate sales team activities across commercial, industrial, wholesale, and retail sectors to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  • Represent the company in international trade by managing import/export relationships and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.

Client Solutions & Proposal Development

  • Assess client needs and technical requirements to deliver customized, value-based solutions.
  • Develop reports, proposals, and presentations to illustrate product/service benefits.
  • Quote pricing, credit terms, warranties, and delivery timelines aligned with client specifications.
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly and provide input into solution design.
  • Collaborate with specialists to tailor offerings to project specifications.

Relationship Management

  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to address client inquiries and resolve service-related issues.
  • Deliver technical training to clients’ staff for equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Lead negotiations and support the sales team in closing major deals.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, product innovations, and industry trends to inform sales tactics.
  • Contribute to forecasting and reporting using CRM and sales software tools.
  • Provide market and client feedback to inform product and R&D teams.
  • Analyze sales data and market research to improve business outcomes.

Sales Operations

  • Determine pricing, credit terms, delivery schedules, and warranty terms based on client requirements.
  • Communicate campaign messages to prospects and clients.
  • Ensure documentation, contracts, and agreements are complete and compliant with company policies.

Experience and Specialization

  • Minimum of 5 years of related client management in a related industry.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms in a professional environment.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Familiar with LAN (Local Area Network) communication protocols and network environments.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
    • Experienced in using Salesforce CRM platform
    • Skilled in spreadsheet tools and database management systems
    • Comfortable working with networking and communication software
    • Capable of managing electronic mail systems efficiently
  • Experience with security system equipment.
  • Demonstrated work experience in the areas of:
    • Product development, from concept to implementation
    • IT service delivery, ensuring quality and continuity of technical support and infrastructure
  • Specialized knowledge in the following technical areas:
    • Project management
    • Industrial electronics
    • Closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems
    • Cameras
