Job Description: Reporting to the Manager Budget & Forecast, the Forecast Specialist will demonstrate knowledge and experience with SHA operations while having a solid understanding of SHA policies and procedures. The Specialist will provide support to the Manager in developing accurate forecasts based on operating results and system knowledge; to various business partner portfolios analyzing operating results to support forecast development; with reporting on whether the financial system sustainability plan has been achieved and with incorporating the results into the forecast process. They will participate in the development of the operating financial system sustainability plan and provide recommendations and opinions as the financial system sustainability plan is developed.

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting role

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in an applicable field
  • Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Accounting

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
