Job Description: The incumbent will provide brief solution focused individual counseling as well as group counseling services including assessment, support and co-ordination of services to individuals who are experiencing distress or dysfunction related to mental and/or substance abuse disorder, trauma, cumulative stress or problems in living. This position may require working with clients on a drop in basis as well as some community work. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience

  • 1 year of supervised clinical counselling
  • experience in a mental health and addictions program required

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW)
