Job Description: Reporting to Director, Strategic Initiatives & Community Integration, the Coordinator provides specialized research, evaluation, grant development, and knowledge translation that supports organizational planning, program development, strategic initiatives, and community-based innovation. The position contributes to the development of evidence-informed approaches by identifying, analyzing, and translating leading practices, emerging research, and measurable outcomes relevant to the needs of St. Paul’s Hospital and the communities it serves. The Coordinator functions as a resource to leaders, physicians, project teams, researchers, community organizations, and funding partners by supporting environmental scans, literature reviews, program evaluations, grant applications, performance measurement frameworks, and research activities. The position assists organizational leaders in understanding what works, why it works, and how successful models may be adapted to the Saskatchewan context.

Experience

• Three to five years of experience in research, evaluation, quality improvement, policy analysis, grant development, or related work
• Experience conducting literature reviews, environmental scans, and evidence syntheses
• Experience supporting program evaluation and performance measurement activities
• Experience preparing grant applications and funding proposals
• Experience working within healthcare, community-based services, academic, government, or not-for-profit environments is considered an asset. 

Education: 

• PhD preferred
• Master's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, Nursing, Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Policy, Research Methodology, or a related field
• Additional training in program evaluation, implementation science, quality improvement, research methodology, or data analytics is considered an asset
