Job Description: The incumbent will provide Psychology Services primarily directed to pre-school aged children 0-5 years of age. Provision of these services are through a combination of direct service, consultation, community resource development and education. The Early Childhood Psychologist complements existing staff that provide services to children, youth and their families. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

- Master of Psychology (MPsych)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Master of Educational Psychology is acceptable
- Master of Clinical Psychology is acceptable

- Knowledge in evidence-based approaches for children, youth and families
- Ability to utilize computerized assessment & interpretation software packages

- Knowledge in clinical theory and best practice
- Knowledge of trauma informed practice
- Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Other Information
- Supervised training in assessment, differential diagnosis and intervention
- HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE)
