Job Description: Under the direction of the MHAS manager, the incumbent provides psychology services mainly to children and youth referred through the Department of Psychiatry and the Dube Child and Adolescent Unit. Clinical services include psychological assessments, psychometric testing, and diagnostic services/treatment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the incumbent provides a range of services to children and adolescents experiencing significant distress/dysfunction related to mental disorder, trauma, cumulative stress and/or problems in daily living. The incumbent monitors psychological testing materials and advises the MHAS Manager when additional resources are required. The incumbent works effectively with minimal supervision in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and relevant community stakeholders. The incumbent provides clinical supervision to clinical psychology practicum students; provides input into program development, planning and evaluation.
