Job Description: Under the direction of the Public Health Nurse Manager, the Public Health Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for clinical nursing orientation, on-going consultation and supervision of Public Health Nursing services throughout Sunrise Health Region. The Public Health Nursing Supervisor ensures nursing services delivered to clients/families is of high quality, meets or exceeds provincial nursing standards, and support consistent processes and procedures across the region, contributing to continuous quality improvement and good health status/outcomes for clients. The Public Health Nursing Supervisor works closely with the Medical Health Officer, Infection Control Staff, Employee Health nursing staff and other health service providers in the Sunrise Health Region.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
