Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority in this front line leadership role. The Unit Coordinator facilitates the overall daily functioning of the unit ensuring a high quality of patient care services.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Charge nurse experience
  • Triage experience
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ER and/or UCC, within the last 5 years

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
