Job Description: Under the direction of the Children's Subspecialty Program Manager, the clinical coordinator will be recruited in the division of Children's Subspecialty Programs - Pediatric Pain Clinic, as well as may support other Pediatric Subspecialty Clinics. The Clinical Coordinator will work closely with the Pain Clinic Physician and multidisciplinary team to best support patients; as well as collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and other services to improve the health outcomes of children. The nursing duties includes the provision of comprehensive care to children and adolescents, in the outpatient setting; participate in pre/post clinic preparation; complete patient assessments; communicate with patients and families, including needs-based patient education; advocacy; and assist in shared decision making with patients and families, other allied health professionals and physicians. The Clinical Coordinator will follow up and coordinate documentation through electronic medical records (EMR) system/email /phone to coordinate patients' care.

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
