Job Description: This role exists to provide operational support for Nursing Practice & Education Clinical Nurse Educators and professional practice leadership. This position reports to the Director of Clinical Standards and Professional Practice. Functions include leading the development, alignment, implementation, communication, evaluation and maintenance of policy, medical directives, and clinical standards to support professional practice consistent with evidence, legislated and professional requirements, and strategic direction of the SHA. This includes developing, directing, and delivering related education.
This position provides expertise and advice in interpretation and application of regulations, standards of practice, and scopes of practice in various care environments. This role leads the review of practice changes; evaluates the impact of those changes on multi-disciplinary team functioning and relationships; and anticipates how changes will affect patient care.

Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Nursing
- Leader who has developed planning and programs in multi-stakeholder environment
Other Education & Training:
- Licensed and in good standing with professional association and/or regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master's degree preferred
Licenses:
