Job Description- The Long Term Care Manager is responsible to ensure efficient, effective and resident-focused care across assigned units. Utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, this individual will demonstrate strong team-building skills and approaches to ensure excellent resident and family experiences at Providence Place. Effectively leading change, working intra-departmentally, and addressing the evolving needs of the resident will be central to success in this position. The incumbent will be required to be skilled in change management and conflict resolution.

Education
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in the past five years in a supervisory/leadership position
- 7 years clinical nursing experience, Long Term Care experience preferred
Knowledge & Abilities
- Knowledge of legislation and applicable laws
- Advanced knowledge of the Health Care system in Saskatchewan and across Canada
- Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has demonstrated ability to coach ,mentor and develop others
- Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity
- Ability to facilitate change and continuous improvement
- Demonstrates strong commitment to "patient centered care"
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Has demonstrated strong critical thinking, financial and analytical skills
- Mobilizes people, inspires and sets an example for others
