- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
- "Manger discrection : o May consider hiring Graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (GLPNs) as casuals to a GLPN call-in list where GLPNs will be offered work only when work has first been offered to LPNs at regular rates of pay and the work or shift remains vacant. GLPNs must be licensed with SALPN as a GLPN and work within a restricted scope of practice under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. GLPNs are employed and paid at 90% of Step 1 of the base rate of pay for LPNs. It shall be a condition of employment to obtain registration as a LPN through SALPN within the first six (6) months of employment."
