Job Description: Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

• e.g. Chemistry required in Chemistry, Microbiology in Microbiology, etc.
• Major dependent on specific specialty area:
• Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in defined science & required courses

• Water Quality Lab (Microbiology)
• Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Microbiology
• Medical Microbiology (similar to UofR Biology 303) OR
• Environmental Biology (similar to UofR Biology 276 or 335).
