Job Description: 

1. Select, design, update and construct educational courses and lab aids/materials.

2. Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes in all disciplines of Medical Laboratory Science.

3. Supervise students in classroom, clinical, labs, tours, etc. It may involve travel.

4. Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations and to record student progress.

5. Counsel students and prospective students on matters pertaining to the program and job opportunities.

Education

Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology

Licenses

Active registration and current licensure with the applicable national and/or provincial regulatory body.

Other Education and Training

Minimum of two years of recent, relevant experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or in a related field in a Canadian laboratory, including clinical laboratory.
