Job Description

An Integrated and Wholistic Approach to Health Care Delivery Located on Treaty 4 Territory in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley, the All Nations Healing Hospital (ANHH) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health Information Management Practitioner (HIMP) to join the Health Information Management Team. -Under the direction of the Health Information Management Coordinator, the HIMP assists in the establishment, maintenance, coding, and requests for release of health records in accordance with departmental, regional and legislative requirements. -The HIMP provides client registration and billing services. -The HIMP upholds high standards of personal health information management, privacy, and confidentiality. -The HIMP works closely with all departments of the All Nations Healing Hospital and Health Services of the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council to ensure a high quality of patient care.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Certification with Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM)
  • Health Information Management diploma
  • Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
