Job Description: The Executive Assistant is directly accountable to the Vice President of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and provides executive and project support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining the office of the Vice President. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the portfolio, Executive Leadership Team and the office of the Chief Executive Office team. This position ensures that processes are in place to support the efficient and effective operation of the Vice Presidents' portfolio and Executive Office, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and co-operative manner, with members of senior management team to assist in accomplishing the provincial health authority's objectives. This position will research, analyze and develop policies, briefings and proposals as required. Collaboration, coordination, project management/organizational and communication is key to this role. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff in the Executive Office and, in their absence, may provide support services the CEO, COO and other members of the Executive Leadership Team.
Education: Undergraduate degree in administration, commerce or business and additional training in the use of spreadsheets, databases and word processing software
Experience: Minimum three years of experience working in a research/ policy analyst or senior administrative assistant role

- Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the organization, including its governance and organizational structure and relationships.
- Excellent computer skills, with a good working knowledge of various programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, Schedule Plus, Visio, Intranet/Internet, and the capability to learn new programs as required
- Possesses a high degree of initiative, ingenuity, including the ability to work with little, and/or no, supervision
- Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information
License: Valid Class 5 driver's license
