Job Description: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

• May consider hiring untrained resident attendants who will be required to obtain the SK Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate or an equivalent program as identified above within two (2) years at her/his own expense. Untrained applicants enrolled in the CCA certificate program and who have completed the personal care course are preferred. · Unqualified applicants MUST meet the following criteria: - Grade 12; - Twelve (12) months previous experience working in a health care environment; - Knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
• Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
