Job Description: The Administrative Services Coordinator is accountable to the Manager, Addiction Services. The Administrative Services Coordinator is responsible for the provision of administrative services by effectively and efficiently managing administrative matters which support the day-to-day operations of Mental Health and Addiction Services. This includes providing administrative support to the Director, Managers and program teams; preparing data and reports related to service provision and budget administration; coordinating administrative workflows; assisting with established staffing-related processes in collaboration with the Manager; and participating in program leadership activities.

Experience

  • 3 years related experience, including providing leadership, workflow coordination, training or guidance to staff

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership, workflow coordination, training, guidance, or support to staff in an administrative or healthcare setting.
  • Good interpersonal competence including sound judgement and the ability to respond effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to prepare concise reports.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with the public, staff and other SHA employees.
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism, including the handling of confidential information.
  • Excellent and thorough knowledge of computer programs and skills.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, practical.
