Salary: $42,806 to $55,648 per annum
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Employee Benefits team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the delivery of exceptional service to our plan members. Key Responsibilities include:
Processing incoming and outgoing daily mail
Preparing and sending written correspondence to plan members and stakeholders
Maintaining accurate and organized disability and benefit files
Providing backup reception coverage for the organization
Performing general administrative tasks to support the Employee Benefits team

Qualifications:
Minimum two years' experience in an office environment providing administrative support.
Certificate/diploma in office administration or a combination of education and experience
Ability to assume responsibility and work independently.
Ability to identify root cause of issues and develop/recommend solutions.
Ability to manage time and set personal goals and priorities to achieve department results.
Ability to understand customer needs and identify improvement opportunities.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
Able to manage conflict in real time and focus on solutions as opposed to laying blame.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software.
Must be a competent writer and have the ability to communicate with peers and customers effectively to meet work objectives.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Commitment to client service, teamwork, and collaboration.
Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset
