About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic, motivated engineering professional with a passion for both leadership and technical problem-solving as they move to expand their Western Canada footprint and they are seeking a Regional Manager, Engineering to drive the performance and growth of their forensic engineering services across the region.
This role blends technical forensic engineering with business leadership and client-facing responsibilities. You will lead a diverse portfolio that includes civil/structural assessments, fire and explosion investigations, collision reconstruction/biomechanical analysis, and materials/mechanical investigations.

- Business Leadership & P&L Management
Take full responsibility for the financial performance and profitability of Western Canada’s forensic engineering operations. - Technical and Forensic Oversight
Contribute technically via peer reviews, expert legal reports, scene examinations, and managing complex forensic cases. - Business Development & Market Expansion
Drive growth in Western Canada through strategic market initiatives and client relationship cultivation. - Talent Acquisition & Team Building
Identify, attract, and recruit top-tier engineering talent to strengthen regional capabilities. - Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by maintaining clear, timely communication throughout project lifecycles. - Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Spot opportunities for operational enhancements, implement effective process changes, and uphold key performance indicators and service-level agreements.
- Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, including progressive management or leadership roles.
- Forensic investigation experience is a strong asset.
- Proven background working with the insurance or legal sectors.
- Education & Professional Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) license is an asset.
- Technical Proficiency
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Deep expertise in your engineering discipline (One or more of); Civil OR Structural Or fire and explosion investigations OR collision reconstruction/biomechanical analysis OR materials/mechanical investigations
- Personal Attributes
- Positive, self-driven, and motivated attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong presentation capabilities.
- Client-facing skills: comfortable discussing budgets and project updates at all levels.
- Physical & Mobility Requirements
- Ability to work at heights, in various temperatures, and climb as needed.
- Willingness to travel across Western Canada.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Engage in diverse projects spanning industrial, commercial (retail/office), residential, institutional, and environmental sectors.
