DESCRIPTION:
· To effectively maintain the physical mechanical school plant in a condition of operating excellence that will ensure the full educational use of these facilities at all times.
· To assume primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all Plumbing fixtures and systems which the Board places under this jurisdiction of care and maintenance
· To assist the Board’s HVAC & mechanical staff as required.
· To perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager - Maintenance and Renewal Services
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must possess a current Ontario 306A Plumbers License
· Gas Technician level 2 Certificate an asset
· Must have experience with commercial plumbing fixtures, service and maintenance
· Must have minimum 10 years experience
· Must be capable of working with minimum supervision.
· Must possess a current Class G Ontario Drivers License and clear driving record.
· Good physical condition and must be physically capable of assuming the duties of the position from the date of appointment.

Salary: Trades rate - $35.06 per hour
