Unit Summary
Business Solutions, and Enterprise Data Governance. The departments across this team provide comprehensive enterprise supports to achieve the vision of turning data into insights, beyond giving people tools, providing both an upstream lens to ensure integrated clinical activity data is timely, secure, accessible and fit for use, as well as providing a downstream lens bringing a focused and best practice lens to generalized analytics use cases (e.g. clinical activity, staffing, case costing, etc.), ensuring they are strategically and operationally relevant, are efficiently and effectively provisioned, and providing expertise in interpretation and narrative building.
Position Summary
The Supervisor of Patient Registration reports to the Manager of Health Records and Patient Registration, working in conjunction with
managing the day-to-day operations and issues related to staffing and service delivery in the Patient Registration
Departments, across HHS. The Supervisor will assist in the development of the processes which are necessary to
measure and evaluate the quality of service, facilitate the development of the service team; support decision-making
by team members at the point of action; monitor the maintenance of professional and service standards; facilitate an
environment which supports creativity and innovation in the delivery of service; participate in the preparation of the annual
operating and capital budgets for the service; promote an environment which supports excellence, continuous learning
and measurement and evaluation; ensure the facilities, equipment and resources are appropriate for the functions and
activities of the service.
Schedule Work Hours
Monday to Friday; days
1. Baccalaureate degree in Business or a certification in Health Record Administration
2. Management (5 years) experience
3. Recent work experience in Patient Registration
4. Demonstrated excellence in communication, team-building and conflict resolution skills
5. Advanced computer skills
