Research Assistant

• Support the Manager, Research Development, Innovation and Partnerships, and team to oversee the administration, operations and ongoing
management of research projects - funded internally and externally.
• Adhere to Good Clinical Practice and incorporate GCP requirements in all stages of research projects from start up to close up.
• Demonstrate strength and experience in project management, and ability to adhere to timelines and milestones.
• Liaise with internal and external collaborators involved with research projects, to develop study agreements, complete regulatory/ethics submissions, and process payments for sites and other collaborators.
• Compile, review, and file essential documents
• Support any and all project preparations, launch and reporting duties as required
• Responsible for developing Manual of Operations and other research support tools, reports, and trackers
• Responsible for creating and testing data reports, databases, application guidelines, forms, feedback audits and debrief reports
• Coordinate logistics, review requirements, and confirm accuracy for the shipping and collection of materials and supplies for research projects, and other activities as required
• Act as a liaison to facilitate regular communication, touchpoints and updates with external parties
• Prepare communications materials, with experience working with Microsoft products (ie. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe suite and design and CRM platforms (Canva, Mailchimp), etc.
• Ability to synthesize and create meaningful reports and summaries
• Lead the promotion and execution, acting as site facilitator of The Clinic pop up @ HHS, the boot camp series expected to run 3x a year
• Lead efforts to synthesize, collect and assemble the monthly VPR Digest, an electronic communications platform to share monthly updates, opportunities, celebrations and achievements, in collaboration with other colleagues
• Assist/support activities related to the planning and execution of the annual HHS Research Building Bridges Symposium
• Assist/support activities related to the planning and execution of October Research Awareness Month


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Requires 2 years of relevant experience.
