PICU Clinical Leader

1. Baccalaureate Degree in Health Sciences
2. All professionals must hold a current affiliation/membership with their respective governing Practice College (as applicable)
3. Minimum of 5 years recent (within the last 2 years) relevant practice in pediatrics
4. Skill in supporting and mentoring professional staff to enhance knowledge skill and judgment within their practice
5. Demonstrated leadership and co-ordination skills in a fast paced environment
6. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in the delivery of patient care services
7. Demonstrated excellence in communication, team-building, and ability to initiate, model and support change in a constructive manner
8. Demonstrated advanced critical thinking skills 
9. Experience in development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare environment
10. Demonstrated ability and knowledge to access and utilize hospital resources
11. Demonstrated commitment to personal development and life long learning
12. Demonstrated commitment to the mission, vision and values of HHS and MCH
13. Critical Care Experience preferred, however, not required
