Organizational Development Associate

Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Development and joining a team of OD practitioners, the OD Associate will lead and support corporate initiatives and OD-led initiatives.

As an OD Associate, your responsibilities may evolve to reflect the priorities within our healthcare system, and may include the following responsibilities:
• Lead and co-lead OD projects and initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder analysis, communications planning, and change and transition planning.
• Complete diagnostic work, including interviews and focus groups with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct research to advance OD initiatives, and provide recommendations and briefing notes based on findings.
• Facilitate team sessions, including learning session, teambuilding, and retreats for clients.
• Support OD Manager and OD Specialists on select projects and initiatives.

This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work arrangement, in accordance with HHS’ Remote Work Policy.
 


Qualifications
  • University Degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business, Health Services Administration, or relevant post degree designation. Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Organizational Development or related position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Organizational Development frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a large, complex healthcare organization is an asset.
  • Advanced project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead and/or support complex projects.
  • Advanced presentation skills including ability to synthesize and present to leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to anticipate client needs, recognizing and acting on opportunities.
  • Advanced facilitation skills.
  • Strong results-orientation and enthusiastic energy; must be able to thrive in a fast paced work environment. 
  • Ability to work with little supervision; organize and establish priorities within multiple projects and tasks, demonstrated ability to meet project and task deadlines and adjust quickly to changing requirements.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and MS Teams.
  • Able to deliver services both in-person and virtually to teams at various Hamilton Health Sciences sites.
