Materials Handler 3

To function within the Logistics Department, in the specific area of Shipping and Receiving. The Material Handler 3 is
responsible for physically receiving incoming orders, processing goods receipts in Meditech, maintaining all required logs,
shipping out going parcels and signing for deliveries, and other duties as assigned.
 

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Must have certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods
3. Demonstrated proficiency in purchasing computer system functionality and operation, preferably Meditech, as well as
all MS applications.
4. Demonstrated ability to operate a manual and motorized lift truck
5. Demonstrated ability to operate wheeled equipment
6. Competent to perform basic mathematical calculations
7. Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and written
8. Demonstrated strong attention to accuracy, detail and neatness
9. Demonstrated ability to work within time restraints
10. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal Supervision
11. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the Team
12. Abilities to prioritize duties in a busy work environment
