Materials Handler 2

The Material Handler 2 is responsible for maintaining adequate stock in all clinical areas according to the prescribed JIT
supply cart model, through the wanding and replenishment process for warehouse supplies. The Materials Handler 2
acts as a liaison between Logistics Materials Management and the user areas; monitoring and replenishing stock as
required. They are also responsible for the distribution of vendor direct purchases made by the program, operating all
power equipment and carts, including pallet trucks as required.

Days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays

Qualifications - 
1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Demonstrated computer skills
3. Practical experience in Hospital Materials Management computer data information system
4. Knowledge of Stores inventory systems
5. Good communication (written and oral) and organizational skills
6. Bar coding knowledge an asset
